Their almost 4k each :-( but after a few days should break even and start geting a profit from them. Though takes a while to recover costs when place them. So people dont tend to miss flights as often useing them. But once get stable i would set it :-)Īnd ya vending machines all i use at the moment. So i wouldnt raise it that much at start. At beg8inning your walking fine line with airlines to keep them happy. I keep mine as 700-800 to airline to cover part of staff. Also ASAP get a CFO and get ''Pricing'' i do 1k for runways and cover staff payment, and $50 per passenger, some airlines will probable drop you, also when your flow is good schedule 10 flights a day. I noticed with the cafe (maybe be bug or poor game design) i opened a cafe to make more money for all passengers and didnt seem to make any revenue. Click once and done, eventually they will pay themselves off. Originally posted by Firefly:Vending Machines, Vending Machines, Vending Machines! There is no inventory or stock. If have stuck plane try sending its passangers home. They costly so takes a bit to break even, But its less likely to have stuck people. Vending machines seem to be best way to go atm. Staff will leave their desks and take golf carts to load and unload airplanes until you get a proper baggage system setup with the Baggage Routing System.ġ3. luckily staff will walk from ticket to boarding desks as needed, so you can run understaffed and save loads of money in the early phases (make sure the walk from ticket to gates is short tho)ġ2. if you have a security guard per scanner/detector, it will reduce the errors to zero (people having to rescan) - but if you are strapped for money the guards are only needed at the id deskġ1. likewise, it's possible to assign a gate to multiple desks, that's how you get to load the 500+ passenger monster in the 2 hour time allotted succesfullyġ0. it's possible to assign multiple desk (id/tiocket/gate) to a single queue (or a coach/first queue pair) and that's what make passenger properly round-robin around facilitiesĩ. As for now it seems can only build on RIGHT side of current prebuilt road.Ĩ. Do not forget to leave space for expanding main road. Try to build dureing the night to lesson it.ħ. As it will add to congestion with construction trucks and passangers comeing same time. Build all you need BEFORE hire first airline. Use SECURITY EXIT gates to direct arriving passangers out of airport instead of threw it.Ħ. DO NOT hire more staff or food workers then you have work station or they will get stuck.Ĥ. leave a gap between queline and work stationsģ. Que lines must be assigned to workstations to work :-)Ģ. The airports are not designed to be business-worthy (profitable in the development process and presumably, when operating and finished).Originally posted by Dragonsphotoworks: Ok not actually offical. This, despite this being (harder but) possible, is an attempt to make the creation of large airports easier. It inherits all of the characteristics of the above Career Mode except it allows the player to surpass $0 and have practically unlimited money. This, of course, excludes the current glitch which allows baggage carousels to be placed even after surpassing $0 and being in-dept. You start with either $200,000 or $1,000,000, depending on your game creation menu decisions, and cannot have a balance under $0 without being in-debt and unable to purchase items. SimAirport currently contains 2 game modes:Ĭareer Mode is the original and default game mode. On the one hand the 'quick scenario' UI did not fit at all - while not used a lot on the SteamDeck it is very annoying to fail. The major issue was UIs just not fitting on the Screen, specifically two. Game Modes are different variations of gameplay. First of all we took a look at the problems making it hard or impossible to play SimAirport on SteamDeck. You can help SimAirport Wiki by expanding it.
